SM6.0 Modified Printer
This is our Flagship Modified Printer. The SM6.0 printer will efficiently print on ALL of the nursery tag and labels that we manufacture here at Stover.
The SM6.O is a 305DPI near-edge thermal transfer printer, manufactured to allow up to 9" side-by-side tags to feed through while printing up to 6.0" wide text and/or barcode information.. It can print barcodes and text on Adhesive labels as well as Premium Stakes and Wrap tags, for permanent identification of individual plants. Stover Manufacturing modifies the printer and manufactures the tags and labels in house. You are assured of compatibility between the printer, ribbon and tags or labels. SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE FROM THE SOURCE. The SM6.0 prints from label or POS applications with standard Windows™ drivers via standard USB or Ethernet ports.

Stover was created in September of 2012 with the purpose of bringing innovative efficiencies to the production of nursery labels thereby being able to give better customer service in filling orders for plant tags and labels. This includes new ideas for the thermal printers currently being used for printing plant labels in the horticultural industry.
Namesake Gary Stover modified the first thermal printer for use in the horticultural industry almost 20 years ago. Today Gary is once again providing cutting edge technology to printing plant tags currently being used by growers and retailers of nursery stock.
